Here is an example:

1. If you are constructing a new model, select the File/New option, and if you want to open an existing model, select the File/Open option and then locate the desired (*.gps) file. If you have opened an existing model, the last simulation results (if there are any and if the source hasn't been changed since) will be loaded as well. However, in order to see the tables and charts, you will have to execute the simulation (the Simulation/Start simulation option).

2. On the 'Source' page you can create a model (or edit the existing one) using the GPSS syntax.

3. In order to check the model for errors and execute the simulation, select the Simulation/Start simulation option.

4. If there are any errors in the source code, you will be notified and the 'Listing' page will appear. On this page you will be able to see the GPSS assembler's report and error messages. Go back to the 'Source' page and correct the errors.

5. If no errors are found in the source code, after selecting the Simulation/Start simulation option, you will see the 'Results' page containing the report generated by the GPSS processor. All tables in this report can also be found on the 'Tables' page. On the 'Charts' page you can view the data from the tables in the form of a chart. First, select the table from which you want the data to be taken, and then the type of the data you wish to see.
